Scribble Ink offers three ways to gain recognition for your learning, creative practice, and professional development. Depending on your goals, you may be eligible for external portfolio awards, certificates of completion, or Scribble Ink's own Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificates.
CHOOSE A CERTIFICATE
If you are already working towards an external award or qualification, you may be able to use your Scribble Ink activities as evidence within your portfolio.

Important: Scribble Ink does not assess, moderate, or award these external qualifications. Any decision regarding whether an activity can be included within a portfolio rests with your facilitator, assessor, supporter, tutor, or awarding organisation.
As a registered Arts Award Centre, Scribble Ink can provide supporting information about activities you have completed. Participants should discuss any proposed portfolio evidence with their Arts Award Adviser or programme facilitator before submission.

Support progression towards external qualifications
Participants who complete eligible Scribble Ink courses, sessions, workshops or programmes receive a Certificate of Completion.
These certificates recognise:

Completion of Scribble Island Foundation, Growth and Mastery Sessions
Completion of a project realised via the Ink Hub

These certificates recognise successful completion of training but do not constitute a regulated qualification.
NB. These certificates formally recognise that a participant has finished a defined piece of work. It confirms the nature of the activity and, where relevant, the skills demonstrated or evidenced without ranking or comparing projects. The transcript outlines what was undertaken and the skills demonstrated without standardising time input. Skills listed on the transcript reflect those evidenced through the participant's stated aims, completed activity and supporting evidence.
Scribble Ink is an accredited UK learning provider and offers its own Continuing Professional Development framework for artists, writers, creative entrepreneurs, and multidisciplinary practitioners.
Participants may achieve awards through independent creative projects completed through the Scribble Ink Academy or through a
Awards recognise progression, reflection, and professional practice development.
Level 1: Creative Inquiry and Practice
Designed for individuals exploring new ideas, skills, creative interests, or early-stage projects.
Level 2: Creative Development and Practice
For practitioners actively developing their creative work, portfolio, or professional practice.
Level 3: Creative Advancement and Practice
For individuals demonstrating sustained development, implementation, and progression within their field.
Level 4: Creative Executive Practice
For experienced practitioners leading projects, building organisations, developing intellectual property, or managing creative enterprises.
You do not have to complete a formal Scribble Ink course to apply.
Participants using the Scribble Ink Academy can submit evidence from independent creative projects and request recognition against the relevant award level.
Applications are assessed against the learning outcomes, reflection, development journey, and evidence provided.
Scribble Ink Professional Development Awards may be used to:
Demonstrate Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Evidence creative and professional growth
Strengthen portfolios and practitioner profiles
Support funding, employment, or training applications
Showcase commitment to lifelong learning and creative practice

You will receive one of three outcomes:
Your submission meets the required criteria and a certificate will be issued.
Your submission demonstrates progress but requires additional work, evidence, or reflection before a certificate can be awarded.
Assessment times may vary depending on submission volume and the complexity of the work being reviewed.
Applicants will be notified by email once a decision has been made.
For Scribble Ink-issued awards, successful applicants will receive an email containing a secure Certify link.

If you are working towards a certificate of completion through Scribble Online, Udemy and Coursera will automatically issue a certificate once you have made it to the end of the curriculum.
