WRITINGS & RESEARCH
This space offers a glimpse into the creative and critical work that inspires much of Scribble Ink's pathways, programmes and philosophy.
Through two ongoing collections, The Chronicles of Nadia and The Accidental Academic, questions, stories, experiments, discoveries, and occasional missteps are seasoned, chopped and sandwiched into the pages of a hearty eBook or sprinkled over a delicious post. Yum!
BOOK LAUNCH
Thrilled to announce that She Writes Herself is officially out in the world!Â
It's the first release in the Accidental Academic Collection, a series that brings together my lived experience, cultural commentary, and practice-based research without making everyone wade through impenetrable nerdy word salad.
Inspired by the life and enduring legacy of Octavia E. Butler, the book reflects on what it means for a creative to write herself into spaces where she may never have been expected or permitted to exist.
It also hypes up Millennial Punk, the emerging philosophy running through much of my work, and celebrates the Tallawah spirit: small but strong, resilient, and full of possibility.
Think of it as a lunch-and-learn in prose form: deliciously digestible, indulgent, and moreish!
I’ve also thrown in some exciting activations designed to inspire discussion at your book club, writers’ group, or with a random stranger at the bus stop. (No, you’re weird!)
