Creative Writing | Using Social Media to Create Epistolary Text

Epistolary is a literary work of letters curated to form a fluid, engaging and authentic-feeling narrative (think Celie's diary entries in The Colour Purple). Using case studies from ground-breaking authors like Alice Walker, we will explore the magic in epistolary form, dust the cobwebs off old diary entries, blog posts, newspaper clippings and social media posts, and then develop a framework for an epistolary novella.
